      NETTIPATTAM NIRMANA PARISEELANAM

      We conducted a programme "NETTIPATTAM NIRMANA PARISEELANAM on December 13th 2022. It was inaugurated by Prof. AM Varghese. Former vise Principal of Christ college, and presided over by Academic Principal Mr. Kumar C.K., Director Mr. Biju Varghese, Mr. Hussain M A Executive Director of Christ College offered welcome speech.

    • DISTRIBUTION OF FOODGRAIN KITS

      As a part of developing social responsibility and commitment among students, The Social Club of Christ College distributed food grain kits to the needy families on the auspicious occasion of Christmas and New Year. The kit was contributed by the students, teachers and staff members of the Christ College.

      HAND EMBROIDERY TRAINING

      The Entrepreneurship Club of College conducted a hand embroidery training workshop for students. Muriyad Panchayath President Mr.Jose J Chittilappilly Inaugurated the training which was presided over by College Principal Kumar C K.

      Director Mr. Biju Varghese and Exeutive Directors Mr. Biju Poulose and Mr. Hussain M A addressed the gathering. Christ college faculties Mrs.Sindhu T.N and Mrs.Sandra Anoop gave the training for students.

    • LED STAR MAKING TRAINING

      Entrepreneurship Club organized a LED Star making training for the students. Muriyad Panchayath President Mr. Jose J Chittilappilly Inaugurated the function. Principal Kumar C K presided over the function. Mr.Biju Poulose, Executive Director addressed the gathering. Executive Director Mr. Hussain M. A, provided the training. Program Co-ordinator Mrs. Priya Baiju welcomed and student representative Mr. Adarsh Priyan delivered vote of thanks.

      DISTRIBUTION OF VEGETABLE SEEDS

      Distributed vegetable seeds to the students of our College as a part of developing the agricultural skills of the students under the auspicious of the Agriculture Club. The vegetable seeds were distributed to the students with the aim of marketing the home grown vegetables by the students. Principal Kumar C K presided over the function. Muriyad Panchayath President Mr. Jose J Chittilappilly inaugurated the distribution of vegetable seeds. and Executive Directors Mr.Biju Poulose and Mr. Hussain MA addressed the gathering. Mrs.Praseeda CR, Co-ordinator, Agriculture Club, welcomed the audience and Mr. Shinod T V Student Representative, delivered vote of thanks.

    • TRAINING CLASS ON MAKING HOUSEHOLD UTENSILS

      At the initiative of the Entrepreneurship Club of Christ College, students were given a training class on making household utensils such as Soap, Hand Wash, Dishwash, Phenol, Washing Powder, Shampoo and Toilet Cleaner. The training class was presided over by Principal Mr. Kumar CK and the programme inaugurated by Kumar C K Principal Christ College.

      Mrs. Surayya KM provided training to the students. Entrepreneurship Club Co-ordinator Mrs. Shani Jose, Executive Directors Mr.Biju Poulose and Mr.Hussain MA addressed the gathering. Student representatives Mr.Arun PJ welcomed and Mr. Shinod TV delivered vote of thanks.

      FOOD MARKERING FAIR

      A food marketing fair was organized at our College, with the objective of fostering entrepreneurship among the students. Thirty food items were prepared by the students for the marketing fair. The M.Com students-led food marketing fair. At the fair, students brought home-made food items for sale. The programme was inaugurated by Principal Kumar C K, presided over the function. Executive Directors Mr. Biju Poulose and Mr. Hussain MA, Entrepreneurship Club Co-ordinator Mrs. Nithya PB and Mrs. Shani Jose addressed the gathering.

    THE COOKING CLASS

    The cooking class was organized by the Entrepreneurship Club of Christ College with the aim of enhancing the culinary skills of the students. Mr. David Joseph, a graduate of the BHM Hotel Management from Christ College, Bangalore, presented classes for students. College Principal Kumar C K inaugurated the cooking class. and presid ed over the function. Recipes were present- ed with a variety of baking products such as Bread, Burger Bun, Caramelized Apple & Orange Cake and Tea Cake. ED Club Co-ordi nator Mrs. Shani Jose addressed the gather ing Executive Director Mr.Biju Poulose welcomed and student representative Ms.Ben Rose delivered vote of thanks.

    WOMEN'S DAY PROGRAMME

    Various events were organized at our College on the occasion of International Women's Day. College Principal Kumar C K presided over the function which was inaugurated by Muriyad Panchayat President Mr. Jose J. Chittilappilly. On wom en's day Mrs.Abhirami Sunil Mcom Ist Year was appointed as Principal for the day. and Executive Directors Mr.Biju Poulose, Mr.Hus- sain M. A. program Coordinator Priya Baiju addressed the gathering.

    Selected students from M.Com were appointed for teaching the students on that day. Prepared beautiful murals and hosted FM radio from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.The students displayed posters on various topics such as dowry and violence against women, achievements of women in various fields, drug abuse and getting a job before marriage.
    A Treasure Hunt game was organized for the students. On Women's Day, The college office was managed by B.com students. Students were also given the opportunity to sign autographs on the college wall. Student Representative Ben Rose welcomed and Ms.Mintu Sugathan delivered vote of thanks. Ms. Mintu Sugathan was selected as Christ Woman.

    PINACH HARVESTING AND SALE

    Spinach harvesting and sale was done by the students of the college under the auspices of Christ College Agriculture Club Spinach Harvesting was inaugurated by Kumar C K Principal Christ College. Students, Teachers and others participated.

    STUDENTS STORE AND CANTEEN

    As a part of various programs aimed a providing income to the students along with their studies, Students Store and Canteer were opened at Christ College. College Principal Kumar C K inaugurated the student store and canteen for the college- students. Principal Mr. Kumar C.K presided over the function. The store was managed by Christ students at all working days.

    HANDWRITTEN MAGAZINE

    A handwritten magazine competition was organized for the students of Christ College to develop reading, writing skills and also to express their creativity. Mrs.Sinto Kongoth Assistant Professor Malayalam Department Christ College evaluated Magazines and prizes were awarded. Principal Kumar C K presided over the function which was held at Chavara Hail Christ College M.Com Second Year students won First prize. and B.Com Second year students won Second and Third prize.

    PARENTS MEETING

    We conducted regular parents meeting It was a great opportunity to share academic progress and excellence based on classroom observations. Parent teacher meeting are also an opportu nity for parent and teacher to build a positive relationship. The ability to communicate and share the experience with them through parent teacher communication allows parent to develop a strong bond of trust.

    STUDY TOUR

    Study tour helped students to open themselves for many possibilities. It really helped them to realize the interaction between their studies and chosen field of career development. A study tour was conducted for 3 night and 2 days to Kodaikanal, Ramakkalmedu + Munnar for final year B.com students and final M.com Students.
